President’s Corner
Another fall annual meeting has passed and I’m pleased to be your president for
another year. Please welcome our newest board member Egon Kraan. He will be
our new correspondence secretary as of October 7th. It’s been a crazy summer for
sure with loads of rain making a late start for most programs and unbearable heat for a
lengthy spell. Despite the weather the summer shooting programs were
of great success although with lower numbers in attendance. Our winter shooting
programs will be starting in December with smallbore rifle and gallery pistol starting in
January. Please remember that safety is a priority for the club and please be
considerate of other shooters. Also remember to clean up your old targets and trash
at both facilities. The new lock on the gate will be in place October 15th. If you did not
come to the meeting and get your key some are being mailed or you need to contact
Jim or another board member to make arrangements to get a key. New keys may also
be obtained at any monthly board meeting.
