The Outdoor range’s 300 yd practice is from noon to dark. All shooting must stop when it is dark!
Any member caught abusing the range hours will be subject to disciplinary action!
Any and all Members should have their membership cards with them. Nobody should be upset to present their card to anyone else asking for it. Introduce yourself and ask to see their membership card if you don’t recognize the person.
If there should be any unsafe conditions, you will have their name. If you don’t get their name or their license plate number, it is hard for the board to address those concerns.

President’s Corner

Well, here we go again. After the untimely death of Jon Rinal, the elected president, in December; the board of directors appointed me, Jerry Maule, to fill the term of Jon’s Presidency. Jon fought a courageous battle with cancer but could not come out victorious. We will miss Jon in person, but will keep him in our thoughts.
This is one of the many times I have stepped back into the President’s position and will do my best to continue the mission of the club in our community. I intend to hold this office until the fall meeting when a successor will be elected. Please make your suggestions to board members as to your thoughts about the President of The Old Trails.
Our current winter programs are going on with Gallery Pistol on Monday evening, Smallbore Rifle on Sunday, and maybe a pistol class before Spring. Informal shooting available to members with Indoor Range access.(see Calendar for time slots) Board meetings are still on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM at the Indoor Range. Sporting Clays, High Power Rifle, 300 yard Varmint, and short range 22 matches coming up this Spring along with informal shooting at the Outdoor Range.
Looking forward to seeing you at the range.
Jerry Maule, President
